About Me

Carl Lee

Code name: Mr. Etoo
My name is Carl Lee a.k.a Etoo. I live in the hustling and bustling capital city of London, England (GMT Time Zone). This is my fifth semester in the Applied Technology degree - I have learnt so much gain and made great Global friends. Due to working during family and having young kids, the best time like to work is the evenings because that’s when I can most of my work done - I’m a night owl.
What I love about BYU-Idaho is the educational culture and its principles. The culture consists of having a Christ-centered approach that upholds principles such as self-reliance, sacrifice and true discipleship.
Learning about the various careers in the technology industry has given me a path of what type of job I may do in the vast world of Information Technology.
The reason I am taking this course is that I have seen the potential of what code can do - and it just astounds me. Noticing thatprogramming can be just as creative as composing music has given me the hope to gain these skills and pass this knowledge on to creatives who think it is only for the few. Besides technology, my favourite top three things are food, music and movies.
When it comes to food, I love desserts; mostly anything that is lemon flavoured combined with shortcrust pastry - I cannot deny them. The secondary thing is music, I love listening to film scores written by John Williams, Alan Menken or Hans Zimmer. I’m a skilled pianist and I often compose popular music for people. My stage name is ‘Mr Etoo’.
Lastly, my third thing is to watch action-adventure movies. I am a Marvel fan, so I have been watching the new series: The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. There are a few other things that l like to do when I am not studying.
I enjoy regular weight resistance training. I love to spend my time playing games with my family. Uno Flip is a family favourite. In the next three months, I am looking forward to continuing my development and getting to know you guys, so I can learn from you and grow into a more competent developer.
